How MitraSpec Kratom Started & information about the owners

Dan and I started MitraSpec seven years ago while we were both working full time jobs. MitraSpec took a very long time to build into what it is now, and we absolutely love every second of everyday because we love what we do. When you love what you do it doesn’t feel like work.

Seven years ago Dan and I found Kratom. We were looking for a natural alternative to help mainly Dan with his severe back pain from his truck driving job. He has several bulging discs. He couldn't do the job much much longer if it wasn't for kratom he would have had to leave his job. I myself have anxiety and issues with my neck from a bad car accident when I was 16 and kratom was able to help me in so many ways. I used to be on Rx meds that made me feel like a zombie and only put a band aid on it. I was able to get if off it and I am so very thankful I did.

We eventually found our own source of kratom in Indonesia because we didn't like the quality we were getting. We wanted to know exactly what we were getting, how it was processed, grown etc. We even found our supplier who we've been working with since the very start. We were so excited and happy that we started telling all our friends and family about this amazing plant. Once they experienced it they couldn't believe it either. And asked us to get some for them and more people asked and we grew. We were so excited and happy to help others, then MitraSpec was born.

Everyone I work with is female. Well all but my husband and friend Dru. I know how hard companies can be on moms and I wanted to create a different vibe where moms could be less stressed and work from home. I have an amazing team. I also support and sponsor women athletes because that is so important. Women competition in sports needs a bigger voice and I do as much as I can to support women.

We sponsor other professional athletes as well. This helps give kratom more of a positive voice of how amazing it is.

We work with the Eddy House out in Nevada where they house homeless kids from 13 to 18. This is an amazing program that helps them with shelter, life skills and finding jobs and it's something I also do that I love. I'm big on helping kids as well. I have a degree in Psychology and I used to work with children with Autism and special needs.

I believe in the power of telling the truth, my truth and our collective truths as women and survivors, and my hope is that I can inspire other women to share their own truths and feel better with Kratom.

Some random things about me: I love animals, coffee, MMA and my family. I am a type A perfectionist who really is secretly very lazy and just wants to Netflix and chill and I hate this about myself. I run daily because this year I will be running a few marathons in NH this spring and summer. I workout daily and love martial arts. I love my dogs and my family. I like to ski and hike. We are outdoors as much as possible when we are not working. I recently moved back to Massachusetts after being in Texas for 7 years. My heart belongs on the east coast and closer to my family.

I don’t always get to respond to every comment or email but I read every single one and I hold your stories in my heart with immense gratitude. Together we can do great things, this I know for sure. I love and know every single customer and that is so important to me. I do what I do because of the people who are helped by this plant. Healing makes my heart happy.
