LATEST UPDATE: We have been hard at work for the last week moving and setting up the new shop in New England. We do still need a few more days to finish wrapping things up in Texas before we can resume shipping at normal capacity. Orders place Wed. 7/22 through Friday 7/24 may not ship until Monday 7/27 though we will try to ship on Friday if possible.
We are also very happy to say that our shipment has finally arrived! We have been putting all of your favorite strains and blends back in-stock and can begin taking orders now.
Finally, we want to give everyone an update on the new website. We are finishing up over the next several days and should be ready to launch within a week or two. Check for more updates at https://community.mitraspec.com
MitraSpec is incredibly proud to announce that we are expanding and relocating!
After careful consideration, we have decided to relocate MitraSpec’s headquarters to the Northeast. At this point the move is expected to take place between July 17-22, 2020 (though these dates are subject to change). During this time, we will have to temporarily suspend shipping. We will continue to handle customer service requests but there may be some delays to that as well. In addition to the move we are also pleased to announce that MitraSpec will be launching a sister site soon. MitraSpec will stay as it is with no changes to its day to day operations. The new site, once up, will provide a simplified, kratom only shopping experience featuring a smaller selection of our best selling, lab-tested strains at lower prices, and with MitraSpec’s unmatched customer service and easy, no-strings attached credit card payments.
Over the next few days and weeks leading up to the actual move, we expect there will also be some days that our production, shipping, and customer service operations will be delayed as we make our preparations. We don’t anticipate this causing many issues or any serious impact on our ability to fulfill orders at our normal rate, but we want you to be aware of it just in case.
During the shutdown period, we will continue to accept orders and will process any orders received in that period in the order they are received beginning on July 23. We do apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued loyalty and support at this very exciting time.
A Word About Out-of-stock Items
For anyone worried that the reason we were out of stock on so many items, was that we were going to be closing, we certainly hope that the aforementioned news will help ease your mind. We are, like everyone else, extremely frustrated that we are experiencing severe shipping delays of our incoming product. Unfortunately, much of Southeast Asia is shut down currently due to COVID-19 and since this is where the world’s supply of kratom comes from, it means that these shortages will most likely continue until things open back up. We do have multiple large shipments at ports in multiple countries awaiting shipment. With our partner in Indonesia, we have placed orders that have been dispatched to separate countries to improve the chances that as soon as one of them opens up, at least one shipment will be on the way. We believe that the first of these will be arriving right around the time we open back up after the move so we should be fully stocked as we begin to resume shipping in the 3rd week of July.
